The Soul of Sia Arts
Rooted in centuries-old handloom tradition, Sia Arts transforms ceremonial Paithani silks and geometric Khann weaves into timeless, featherweight jewellery.

Gold Zari of the Royals
For over two millennia, the town of Paithan on the banks of the Godavari river has woven what is universally revered as the “Queen of Silks.” Adorned with pure metallic zari, oblique square borders, and kaleidoscopic peacock and parrot motifs, Paithani is more than silk — it is an heirloom passed down through generations of Maharashtrian brides.
At Sia Arts, we honor this noble textile by preserving its intricate motifs within handcrafted jewellery medallions. Each cut of fabric is treated with reverence, sealed against moisture, and framed with hand-strung seed pearls.
The Geometric Rhythm of Khann
Originating in Guledgudd and woven across southern Maharashtra and northern Karnataka, Khann is an ancient handloom cotton-silk distinguished by its miniature triangular matrices and vibrant two-tone luster.
Traditionally folded into auspicious offerings during festive poojas, Khann has seen a glorious renaissance. Sia Arts crafts Khann fabric into lightweight daily pendants, festive bangles, and matching earring drops that carry the warmth of heritage into contemporary wardrobes.
